This is your INVITATION TO MAKE COMMENTSregarding the man in the video. "PROVOCATIVE" DRESS; What advice/council would you give him on the topic? There is an on-going problem with the way some Christian women/men are dressing. On a couple of occasions I have listened to , complain about distractions while the focus should be on "spiritual things". Women who call themselves a "Christian" are dressing like women in the secular arena.
Some people revert to calling certain clothing: "hoochie momma AND hoochie daddy clothing". Certain types of clothing are worn strategically to in a sensual way, then you have some who are ignorant to the standards of Christian attire as a witness for Christ. Is there a right and wrong way for & women to dress when it comes to "Christianity?"
Who is teaching young men & women how to resist the attacks of provocative dress? Who is teaching your children how to dress as a Christian who reflects the image of Christ? The world has no concern for your son's or your daughters' purity. If they "Your Children" are not equipped to overcome this strategic attack, then how will they handle Delilah, when she comes around? You remember the alluring female character from scripture, right? How will they be victorious when an comes on their Christian values?
The concern for this topic came after paying a visit to two adult children. I often engage in a Bible discussion with them when visiting. The topic of women's attire in the United States verses women's dress in Muslim countries became the topic of the hour. During the conversation, I realized that the topic and the exchange of words would be valuable to the S&L reading audience, and others for the sake of the generation.
